What is mystery item #450 from MicroComputer Accessories Inc? Nice packaging but no documentation or frankly any clue as to what it is!
Opening was tricky as it was glued tight.
To reverse engineer the circuit diagram:
When applying a DC voltage of 12v to the DC source, just the positive, you can touch the contact and the LCD shows a lightening symbol!
Very odd but it is possible to measure the change in voltage at the other end of the circuit if you connect the meter to ground.
So perhaps this is a door bell of some kind? Which is entirely passive and does not require any electircal power for active components.
A single wire connection would make it really easy to install.
What do you think? Any ideas?
