Dungeon Raider

A dungeon hack adventure waiting to be conquered. Featuring 100 levels of foes, treasure and traps!

Designed to run on the Apple IIe and Apple II+ machines.

The game focuses on gameplay, using simple character based graphics you explore each level, collecting treasure and fighting monsters.

Beware there are traps lying in wait and deadly areas in the deeper dungeons you cannot cross. Some will require a search for hidden switches to activate.

The game is turn based using very simple controls.

Health: Combat, traps and even freezing cold water can drain your strength.

Keys: Carefully manage the keys you have, they can open doors and also chests

Gold: Grab as much as you can! That is really the reason you are here afterall!

Experience: As you fight you gain experience. Each 100 points you gain improves your fighting skills!

Strategy: Sometimes it can be best to run rather than right. But when the monsters are near they will come for you so be careful!

The game comes on a single floppy disc and includes two leaflets, the story and the Apple II specific instructions. It is boxes so will sit nicely on your shelf.

The initial limited run of this game comes in a classic plastic box securely contains the disc and other materials. In the future this will be superseded with a cardboard box.

Retro Ginger is trying to recreate some of the golden age of computing and has tried to hard to test and refine the game.
